Sunday 16 January 2011: Raven Crag From Kirkstone Pass
As if the weather wasn't miserable enough today, I was intent on finding somewhere worse! It was damp, it was cold, most of the time I couldn't see this mountail at all due to the mist!
The beck running past my garden had breeched its banks during the night and windfall apples were strewn throughout the garden and into the road beyond by morning. Similarly , we found that Ullswater had overflowed and covered the road with debris as we made our way to Kirkstone Pass.
