Sunday 16 January 2011: Steak Knife
This morning MrsCyclops (she gets us lots of free cinema tickets for Sunday mornings) and I went to the cinema to see "Chalet Girl". It's a rom-com and the plot is sort of cliched, however there are some great performances in it and some of the mountain photography is gorgeous. In places it's also VERY funny. So I'd sort of recommend it on that basis...
This afternoon we went swimming for the first time in ages - 1km and I ache. Then we had steak for dinner and watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, which somehow we've never seen, so we've never watched the rest of them either. More cinematic nonsense, but great swashbucking fun!
This is one of the steak knives waiting to be dried now I've done the washing up...
