Sunday 16 January 2011: Getting Ready for the Rally
Today I shopped at our local co-op and saw these folks painting the side of a truck, in preparation for a Green Peace rally. Hidden from this vantage point were the words QUIT COAL, being painted by the guy in the yellow shirt. One of their vessels is arriving soon to promote clean air through wind and solar power, as opposed to the use of one of the dirtiest coal power plants in North Carolina. It has been said that the North Carolina coast provides enough wind to power the entire state.
