Tuesday 11 January 2011: Trouble
Today, Amber was taken to the kennels, and it was so sad as when I got out of the car,(to attend to the paper work) R said she cried like a baby. It always makes it hard leaving her.
We packed up our camping gear, loaded up the 4 wheel drive and set out on the first part of our journey.
At Ashburton, a red light came up on the dash and R thought it was oil, oh dear - that may mean we can go no further on the journey. Fortunately it was a brake light and the problem was fixed in 5 minutes. Whew!!
Arrived in Timaru , where we were staying the night with Dups.
The rest of the team arrived for a wonderful evening meal, where we discussed with excitement the 4WD drive we were all going on.
