Another day...another castle

Still entertaining the rellies. Today we travelled to Alicante to walk around the old streets while the shops were open.

Spain was due to celebrate 'Three Kings' and if we have learn't anything we know that any excuse to close Spain is a good one. The pace of life in spain is so weird and so good at the same time. They say a change is as good as a rest....so we have far more rests ahead.

The photo is from the Castillo de Santa Barbara on the top of the hill in Alicante. There was a lift and they have allowed a car park to be constructed inside the castle but we being hardy Brits walked up. It was worth the effort, the views were great.
