Tuesday 18 January 2011: Unexpected snails
Don't think we've ever seen white-lipped snails out and about this early. At least not a year with this much snow cover. Perhaps they tried to escape the meltwater under the snow cover?
Colder temperatures are expected from tomorrow or Thursday, so we might not see more of these guys for a while...
