Thursday 20 January 2011: Watch out Little Diver!

Thurso East Reef was working well today. Good combination of low spring tide after work, good waves, no rain and about eight surfers meant it was worth clambering over the rocks and out an adjacent exposed reef to take some shots. I did not notice the little diver bird in this picture while taking it and was surprised to see it there on the screen!

Gorgeous sunshine all day but freezing cold fingers while waiting for the right shot.
