Thursday 20 January 2011: No head for figures
Yap yap yap. And who did I bump into but the esteemed Mr A of the recent 51st birthday. He sat across the aisle sipping an apple juice of all things while yours truly ordered up a G&T and read Yachting Monthly in a deliberately provocative way (well, just provocative to Mr A - I'd hate anyway else to think that I was some sort of tosspot - heaven forfend).
It's Thursday night and there's some fine political stuff on TV to take my mind off the world out there. Pure escapism.
