The Lady in White

Thursday night, as you'll be getting the hang of now, is Mixed Doubles night, so continuing my tennis portrait series meet Angie.

In all the years I've been a member of the tennis club, I think Angie is the person who has featured most consistently on our finals day. Unfortunately though, she had a shoulder problem (rotator cuff tear) and hasn't played much recently.

Getting back into playing she got involved in our rota for the first time this winter and played in the first session last October. She then missed the remaining sessions of last year because she cracked a couple of ribs tripping over and landing on a leaf blower!

We're hoping she'll keep accident free and manage a few more sessions in 2011.
