Pheasant

Pan fried pheasant breast with mashed potato, braised red cabbage, roasted root vegetables and a Madeira Jus.

A main course as part of my 2 courses for £8.95 lunch promotion. Not majorly exciting really.

Had a bad day today. First thing this morning I found out we are not in this year's michelin guide which made me very unhappy to say the least. Then I worked by myself all day so cooking, cleaning and washing up which didn't cheer me up either.
I suppose the good thing out of all this is that my challenge for this year is to try my hardest to be included in the guide again. Changes will have to be made. My food will become better.
