I just found out about the weekly blip challenge thing (thanks to waipushrink) and abandoned the shot I had taken of my new pole hedge trimmer thingy after seeing this cool frond on one of the ferns outside our bedroom window.

Though the quote bears only tenuous relation to the challenge, and none to the photo, I feel little excuse is needed to quote Bertrand Russell. ;-)
