Some things change, some stay the same

We made these handprints exactly a year ago today. Looking at the date, it seems incredible to me that a year's passed.

As well as Mo's, the boys' and mine, the prints include those of our friends Chris and Joanne. Unfortunately, they can't be with us this New Year, which is a shame - it must the first time in ages that they've not been able to make it.

I know the boys' handprints would look very different now, and that reminds me of how much has changed in the past 12 months. But I also know that our friends' hands would be just the same (if anyone could persuade Chris to ever do it again!) and I like that feeling of continuity too.
