Monday 24 January 2011: Haggis, tatties and what?
Neeps. That's what.
This fellow's certainly looked better and has outlived his halloween pumpkin rivals by a long, long way. He should be chuffed to bits with that. Pity then it's Burns Nighttomorrow and it's time to get chopped to bits.
We've got the haggis (both the banned-in-the-USA version and a vegetarian version for the kids (who like the taste, but can't stomach the stomachy bits)). We've got the tatties too. But we're out of neeps. Not sure what 3 month old turnip tastes like but I'm guessing it can't be any worse than the Chinese and their Century Eggs.
