Tuesday 25 January 2011: Snoozing seals
Last minute blip - the light was nearly gone but the seals were in exactly the right place today to be able to blip them. When the tide is fairly high they like to haul out onto this little island in the river before it goes into the sea. I think that they take turns keeping an eye out for trouble, but obviously didn't think I was a threat. I was sitting in my car with the window rolled down to avoid the drizzle!
Hopefully there will be much better seal pictures when I can blip them in broad daylight.
