Wednesday 26 January 2011: Sphinx

At Chiswick House today, briefly.

First I thought it was the west London wing of Soho House, instead I found a Neo Palladian stately home.

I half expected to see my friends from Horrible Histories on location in the gardens.
It was rainy and dismal, but I wanted to do photograph something atmospheric. The lead scullpture can be sen through a ground floor window, with reflections of the gardens behind.

This is all done in camera.
