Gift of Life

For our blood drive at work today, the Miller Blood Mobile came and parked in front of our office building. One by one my co-workers went to donate the gift of life ~ their own blood. This is a good friend and co-worker of mine taking her turn at giving. It's her first time and I think she's doing great! She is a champion in my book!

Unfortunately, I did not think that I could give because of my cancer treatments five years ago. But while talking to the lovely ladies in the Blood Mobile, I found out that you can give blood one year after your last chemo treatment. Yay for me! Next time they come I can also give the greatest gift of all ~ much needed blood!
