Hall of Mirrors

Bus Station, Edinburgh. The curved mirrored windows on this office bend the reflections into comedy effects. The guy in the brown jacket wasn't small, but his reflection was a fair bit bigger!

I took the Perryman's 253 bus today marked Dunbar-Haddington (and -Edinburgh) in the reflection, a pleasant and relatively cheap option. It's the first time I've been in the bus station for years, since they renovated it. It's really nice, completely different from the dark and dingy place it used to be. Catching the bus in the station beats the street by a mile - but then again I got a good blip last time.

This evening I went to a West Barns Gala meeting, kicking things off for another year. It's a great event that marks the end of the school year but like so many things we struggle to get people involved in the organisation. 2011 looks OK, but it's the usual faces and we always need a few more willing volunteers.
