Wednesday 26 January 2011: Shoes for Sunshine
I don't know whether it was the so called Blue Monday last week, this week or next week. Blue Monday: the most depressing day in the year.
All I know is that when your birthday is in January and you're skint and your sister and brother in law send you a £50 voucher for the shops, it's a good idea to run into town and buy yourself some shoes. Shoes you loved last week but wrote off as too expensive, unseasonal and silly for a January purchase, but that you've been wishing you'd bought ever since. Shoes that make you look forward to summer.
(And shoes that may also go well with woolly coloured tights if you can't wait that long)
