Wednesday 26 January 2011: The Gas Pedal
I've started feeling guilty
now I'm driving 30mile each way to work
owning a sports car, getting 31MPG
seems an expensive luxury.
I love the car
but i'm getting so hung up on the cost
that I think twice before hitting the gas hard
most of my time is spent sitting on the motorway
and with the dark days killing all driving enjoyment
and meaning lots of traffic jams
the enjoyment is being sucked out of my drive home
leaving me feeling less in love with my pride and joy
and more feeling like an expensive husband whos expensive to keep running
