trying to get a grip.
This is me
and my stiff upper lip.
This is me
dressed in grey.
This is my stance
day after day.
This is me rooted
to the spot.
And if that H is for Happy
I would say I'm not
and yet...and yet...and yet
there is hope there
...a flicker
a dot.
