Monday 24 January 2011: SOUTHERN SKY
This image is the chosen one for the trip to Tekapo - to observe the Night sky. I chose this one as it highlights the number of stars which can be seen within the Lanse. It aso highlights the Southern Cross.
Its a 5 minute exposure with camera mounted on a tracking device hence no star trails. Not a hugely impressive image but not too easy to achieve and thanks to Fraser Gunn for his technical expertise.
