Friday 11 January 2008: birds nest soup

This fell out of the tree just overhanging my garden. It follows over the last few days a dead full adult bird on my drive, a dead young chick and a broken birds egg. Have had the full gamut.
Totally unrelated but... R.I.P Sir Edmund Hillary, who inadvertently inspired me to come and live in NZ
