Saturday 29 January 2011: Over here!
Despite the indulgences of the previous evening, I was up to breakfast at a reasonable hour and in a manly manner with a bacon roll. Then I set to, sawing up timber. What a bloke. Ahem, I was so reduced by my efforts that I had to rest up, watching some football cup game down south, gasping for air and another cup of tea. And then, begob, it was time to hot-foot it to a fantastic improvised ballet-come-rally at Tynecastle. The press (above) were seeking me out, but they had to make do with Vladimir Romanov making one of his rare forays to these shores. Afterwards, the company in the Diggers was excellent - Chris from Jugalbandi, Alasdair and my old chum Roger. Pass that reeming swat!
So - to the morn - Andy Murray! I can't bear to watch and I won't (well maybe just the last wee bit, depending....)
