Monday 31 January 2011: In the pink ..
.. apparently means in the best of health. Hopefully Son#1 has been restored to his usual state of being superfit and healthy. My nursing skills - or lack of them - are redundant thankfully but were much appreciated in his weaker moments. He has returned to work and is adamant that he can never be so ill ever again.
A cold start - frosty and never above 0 degrees - the cold created an almost mystical light. Sunrise now at 8 o'clock and it is interesting to see it rising almost behind the lighthouse again. Another sign Spring is on the way. It was very pink, calm and peaceful down there - a lovely way to start a busy day.
