Saturday 12 January 2008: Edinburgh 17, Leicester 12
Went to see Edinburgh v Leicester at Murrayfield this afternoon. The day was freezing, so you could see your breath, and at times the scrum all but vanished in its own exhalations. Edinburgh weren't brilliant, but it was still a convincing win (2 converted tries, Leicester only got penalties) and there were moments of really good rugby, as well as a fair bit of farce.
Home now for a quiet night in with take away curry and a film with the wife. What a great way to warm up!
