Tuesday 1 February 2011: Early light - Wallace Monument, Stirling

On my way to Edinburgh this morning I glimpsed the sun illuminating one side of the Wallace Monument as the car came towards Stirling. I was only able to capture it at the limit of my zoom but the slightly soft focus seems to match the diffuse early light. I admit however that I didn't see the birds in the viewfinder - that was a bit of extra luck!
