God Bless Technology

God Bless Technology..........when we can sit at the computer and have a visual conversation with Mama and Papa just as if they were sitting at our very own kitchen table.

They probably don't even know that I snapped this pic but I did. I had to. I wanted to capture the vision of their faces lit up on our computer screen. There faces full of laughter and love as they ichatted with the kids today.

As hard as it is knowing that they are so far away right now, it was very comforting to know that in just a couple of minutes, we can arrange to have an ichat and for the duration of the call, it feels like we are all in the same room together.

And the kids love it of course. They love showing off their newest projects, artwork, or favorite stuffed animal. They like to make silly faces because they can see themselves in the small screen in the corner. It's just nice to know that we can make that connection with them while they are away and we are fortunate to have the tools that even make this possible.

I had fun with this photo doing a little bit of selective color. I made the screen black and white just to funk things up a bit but we really do see them in color when we ichat. We love you Mama and Papa and we'll be chatting with you soon!
