Saturday 29 January 2011: Hellooo New York! :D
Back Blipped.
So we arrived in New York this afternoon, the flight was on time, and landed ahead of schedule, which was amazing considering flights had been cancelled due to weather 2 days earlier. Everything ran smoothly and before we knew it, we were outside, waiting on the bus to Port Authority. When we got to Port Authority, I got my bearing and we walked the 4 blocks to our hotel (The Paramount), which was beautiful! We dumped our stuff in the room, and it was time to hit Times Square.
Your first time in Times Square is amazing, you just keep looking around, trying to take it all in, there's just so much to see and do. After having a look, it was time to hit some shops. We went to Toys R Us and rode on the Ferris Wheel (The Little People School Bus), went to the Disney Store, M&M's World and Hershey's, it was awesome! Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. Being huge Forrest Gump fans, we had to head to Bubba Gumps, it was fantastic! :D
After dinner we came out to find Times Square illuminated, it was then I snapped this pic of the NYPD office in Times Sq. I'd seen it so many times in films and on tv, that I just had to snap a pic. After all that excitement, it was time to head back to the hotel for the night. Our first day had been amazing!
