Friday 4 February 2011: Definitely not junk

I'm not sure if this is a model of a traditional junk or what. I think it's rather neat. It's one of the gifts on the shelves of our board room at York International at York University where I work. The boss (the associate vice-president international) goes on trips here and there forging new exchanges and partnerships with other universities. Gifts are exchanged. This is one of the nicest ones. It's from Shantou University in Guangdong, China.
