Saturday 5 February 2011: Seed Head of Aquilegia/Columbine/Granny Bonnet
A rather warm day today with the daily rain arriving mid-afternoon. No time to mow the backyard and there does not seem to be a full day of no rain coming our way for a while so the next cut is going to be a gut buster.
Morning spent out and about at farmers market and supermarket then home with coffee to be greeted by a barking Robbie the canine who had been left at home because we cannot always find sufficient shade under which to park the car and leaving windows well down for good air flow is not a smart nor viable option even in a busy carpark.
This blip from our back yard again. I quite like the design of this seed head and the very obscure tendrils of web spun between the seed channels.
(For Maggie D: had a dream last night that the head was engaged and it is a boy !!!!!!!) fingers xxxx'd !
