Saturday 5 February 2011: Dinnah Pahty
A rare event at the Pensioner's gaff. A dinner party. I wasn't allowed to go to the boozer with my chums at 5:30pm. I'd to iron the tablecloth! I ask you. This better be bloody worth it. And it's vegetarian. I ask you again.
That aside, I had a fine day. Sat and read the new edition of Practical Boat Owner with a coffee up Bruntsfield. I wonder if there's a Theoretical Boat Owner? Or maybe Virtual Boat Owner. Probably every bit as much fun and a whole lot cheaper.
Right, better go look out the smoked almonds and olives and choose some tunes which set the right tone. Can't go wrong with some Lonnie Donegan.
