Sunday 6 February 2011: An afternoon without TV or husband

After Abi's dedication party, husband was banished upstairs for being grumpy tired and generally unpleasant to be around and having allowed the boys to watch television for an inordinate amount of time this morning I decided to challenge myself to get through a rainy afternoon without recourse to the parents easy cop out.

I think we did pretty well, remote control cars were dug out, words were printed out for school, reading books were gone through, colouring pens were used, paper was chopped up with safety scissors, the toy garage was brought down stairs and the dinosaur stamp set was used. All in all we got through 3 hours until himself woke up in a much better frame of mind :-)
