Monday 7 February 2011: The Weather
Today was my first offical teaching day back at work. It began as a scorcher - we were all complaining about the heat before school even started. Then just before lunch it began to rain. And it rained and rained and rained. For 2 hours, which helped to cool things down a little, although truly only a little. Then it stopped. The sun came out again, but Incy was drowned so he couldn't climb the spout again (sorry, stupid sense of humour).
Here is the school's new paint colour on some of the trim, with the rain on it. If you squint (possibly in large) you will see, in the largest pool of rain, poor drowned Incy - though in this instance Incy is a sandfly not a spider.
