Tuesday 8 February 2011: Mother
Today has been tied up with my mother who is in a home, and today there were visiting doctors who were doing an assessment of her, as to whether it was time for her to move into the hospital side of the Home. She is almost 97, and they felt that it was time she needed more care and to move to the other wing. I have been tied up with meetings with family and the 'home' etc most of the day.
The rain has not abated today, and the Clutha river is still very high, dirty and a lot of debris going down out to sea. Temperatures are cool.
This image says it all for me.
