Wednesday 9 February 2011: Finishing Touches

My hand is a blur as it puts the finishing touches to this painting of Cannes Harbour.

Before the real artist - Mairi Aitkern - panics can I just assure her there is no paint on the brush and it didn't make contact with the canvas. I'm afraid I wouldn't be allowed within a mile of a painting with a loaded paintbrush!

I was actually photographing 4 recent paintings for a forthcoming exhibition at the excellent Rowan Gallery in Helensburgh.
