Wednesday 9 February 2011: Millbank Corn Mill building, Thurso

Bleak, wet, day - yuck! Went to the library and got 2 books out on digital photography and photoshop so will be trying out so new things soon. Meanwhile here is a picture taken in a hurry as I scurried round the duck pond at lunchtime. There was not much to inspire me but I did like the reflections. The building is part of the old Millbank Corn Mill that was built late 18th century. It is now partly ruined and partly converted into a youth club and theatre.

I was hoping to spot the red breasted merganser pair that had been spotted at the river but they were nowhere to be seen today.
