Back home from our "local tourist" holidays!
We had an absolute blast, and blew the January cobwebs away.
Once upon a time I used to spend a lot of time in record stores, and come home with an armful of vinyl. This became an armful of CDs. You simply can't come home with an armful of MP3's, so I still buy the real thing. albeit not as often as I used to.
Here are the latest three additions to my collection.
From top to bottom.
The Damned Things - A strange super group made up from Fall Out Boy and Anthrax ... it really works. When pop rock and thrash smashed into each other.
Death Angel - Been a fan of this band since school days. I saw them a long long time ago in Newport Centre. Top Bay Area thrash group even after these years.
Pearl Jam - Another top group of long time standing, and excellent live addition to their long discography.
It's been loud and proud here in South Wales this afternoon! Keep rocking!
