Spring is coming. I saw the first signs of lighter mornings and evenings today. It makes such a difference - and maybe I'll stop eating so much cosy comfort food.

Wondered out at lunch time for some pics. It was bright blue sky day in Edinburgh. I didn't get far - the battery pack died.

Bumped into an ex-contractor from the Scot Gov who was blethering about his latest project in financial services - dry as Ryvita that's what it sounded like!

And had a drunken phone message from my sister-in-law who is travelling in Australia but wasn't enjoying it - strange, but true. She arrived in Sydney and has met some other backpackers and is having a great time now - knew she would.

Not much else to say. Happy Thursday evening to you - the only decent night for telly!
