Thursday 10 February 2011: I hate snow.

It's been blizzarding all day. Ughhh. I thought it was over.

Anyway, I had quite an adventure this evening. This picture was taken at the start of my epic adventure. I set off to meet a friend and a bunch of other au pairs. I got on the tunnelbana to the local bus station, then waited in the snow for a bus that was 10 mintues late. So I got on the bus, then after 5 mintues the bus got stuck in the road and couldn't move. So everyone got off... Then I asked a nice lady what was going on, and we ended up walking for 20 minutes to another bus stop to get a different bus.
Then we waited there for half an hour in a blizzard. She ended up giving up and going back, I waited for a further 10 mintues, then I gave up and crossed the road to get the bus back. When I was waiting for the bus back, the bus I was originally going to get went past! I was soo annoyed, until that bus got stuck half way up the hill. That made it less annoying.
Then I got on the lovely warm bus back to the Tbana station. Feeling slowly started to return to my extremities, and then I got the Tbana for one stop and walked very fast back home.
I'll never laugh at Britain's inability to cope with the snow again. If the hardy Swedes can't do it, no one can.

Then I had the best cup of tea ever, and I am now pondering moving to Spain. Or Australia...
