Saturday 12 February 2011: HIYA CINTH!
After the excitement of yesterday I had a day at home today and spent it pottering about the house doing various chores. After lunch I got out my cross stitch project and stitched away most of the afternoon (it is almost finished now - I may blip it later).
It seems that with the winter weather and the dark days I have got out of the habit of making myself go out of the house in search of a blip - hopefully I will remedy that soon.
This photograph is of a pot of hyacinths that my niece bought me last year. It is miraculous that, with my plant track record, they have survived to bloom another year (the Lavender plants which I received for Christmas are looking decidedly ill).
