We met up with SamIam and Sands in town as it was our last chance to see Sam before she goes back to Americay this week to have her shoulder re-constructed. Everywhere was hoachin' with rugby fans, of course, but we eventually found a wee corner to sit in at the SMWS in Queen Street and had a very nice lunch. The conversation was uplifting and scurrilous in turns. I enjoyed myself despite having a head full of cotton wool and an occasional but exceptionally irritating cough. They gave me a lift back to Leith so I took them via the Ocean Terminal car park as they hadn't yet seen any of the Gormleys.

Nothing else to report, bar a lot of dozing, a bit of coughing, etc etc. Having had the hot toddy it's time for a hot bath then lots more sleep.
