Sunday 13 February 2011: Walking on Water
This is T. I went down to "The Eel Hole" (local swimming spot on the Buller river) looking for a blip, in the hope of catching some birds in the native bush there. I did capture a wood pigeon and a bell bird but they were disappointing photos. However, this one of T jumping into the river really pleased me.
When the others kids there were jumping into the water they bent their legs and tended to "bomb" in, but T kept his legs straight which, when photographed from behind like this, gives the appearance of him walking on water. The water is actually about 6 feet (2 metres) below him here.
Thanks T for being my model today.
