Sunday 13 February 2011: Decay/Renewal

It still seems early to talk about the arrival of spring, but our rose hedge has certainly come to life, with lush green shoots now drawing the eye away from the red hips that have been slowly fading over the winter.

Compare this to how the hips were looking in early December, with snow on the ground, in what was my second blip.
