Sunday 13 February 2011: Cramond Island

Cramond is the site of the earliest known human habitation in Scotland. All this and it's only 2 or 3 miles from my house - now that's something I do find amazing. I wonder how they lived? What they did? The challenges and hardship they faced is something I can't even imagine.

I don't like working on a Sunday, but at least I get a late start which as the days lengthen will let me do that little bit more before I go to work. Fun, fun, fun.

One more day before a couple of days off. On Tuesday i'm meeting up with a colleague to map the lower 6 miles of the River Almond for a project we are doing.
