Sunday 13 February 2011: Moreton Bay Fig Tree

This Moreton Bay Fig Tree is the oldest of its kind in California and the second largest!

It is located on the McRae/Albright Ranch House historical site in Spring Valley, California, and was planted in 1874 by two Scotsmen; Daniel and John McRae, who were well known for their award winning fruit from the thousands of citrus trees that they planted.
