Monday 14 February 2011: Goodbye west coast
I took this picture as we left Port Appin this morning. Neither it nor the pictures I took of Loch Leven quite lived up to what I saw with my own eyes. Certainly not what was photographed here which is much closer to what I remembered. Not sure why my photos fell short today. I guess, it happens.
I should have insisted that we stop and photograph some absolutely perfect reflections up on Rannoch Moor.
Anyway, it was with genuine regret that we came back this morning. Being taken care of for a whole weekend is something one could get used to....
