Mohinga

This is a packet of DIY mohinga, a Burmese specialty which we first tried at the Burmese food festival, previously blipped, a couple of months ago. It's totally delicious; full of fish sauce, chillis, garlic and other yummy things, and I've been lucky enough to be given some by a friend at work, although warned about the chillis.

When we had this previously, it was a chilly day in Ladywood at the temple, and we were surrounded by beautiful ladies with enormous cooking pots full of rice, soups, stews and curries. The mohinga came with marrow fritters, a boiled egg and lots of coriander, and was one of those things that once had, forever craved.

I can't wait to DIY.
