Foggy Skyline

Drove out to the southside of the harbour. It is a miserable day. It snowed earlier, then it rained, and then the fog set in. So this is the best I got today. I will be back when spring comes...

For 150 years, the Basilica towers dominated the skyline. Then in 2005, The Rooms opened and its three roof peaks now share the skyline to the left of the Basilica. The Rooms (referencing traditional fishing rooms) house the provincial museum, provincial art gallery, and the provincial archives. The Rooms and the Basilica are signficant cultural institutions and have great historical importance, each in their respective way.
