Tuesday 15 February 2011: Jim Baxter
This chap was in my humble and very biased opinion one of the greatest footballers who ever lived. If only for that moment at Wembley when he did keepy up against the auld enemy. He was brilliant for Scotland, and no matter what side of the old firm divide you come from, again for this feat he should be hailed.
Today I was visiting the grave of someone dear to me and my wife in the Kingdom of Fife. To get there we passed the memorial of Jim Baxter in Hill of Beath, the place where he was born.
