Sliding Doors

So
On the left we have what we should have been doing . We were at Saltaire Station. It's lovely , the backdrop of the old church and all the greenery literally on the doorstep of the station makes it a lovely contrast. On the other side of the station there are streets of character filled listed buildings that are very olde worlde and often used in films.
You may not be able to see , but the sign at the station has a warning about slipping on wet surfaces...most kind, shame it didn't say " The Information on the National Rail Enquiries web site does not correlate to actual trains running and the one you aim for will not exist and the one after that will be over half an hour late thus making you too late for your hospital appointment ".
We rang the hospital and had to rebook.
This is why I prefer the car..
Anyway , it was an excuse to have the afternoon with just my youngest daughter , I don't often get chance to be with one of them on their own .
We made cakes and are now just about to settle down with a film
So in a Sliding Doors film style of a day, if we had been to Leeds we would have been stuck in a grey weather day. We came home instead and had a yumtastic baking and relaxing afternoon.
Hope it's been grand for you all
